Our Chamomile tea is available in tea bags. It can be enjoyed as it is as a hot beverage. It can also be combined with other spices and teas to make a flavoured tea, and can also be enjoyed as an Iced tea.
Chamomile tea is calming to the nervous system and also works to boost our Immunity. It is also said to lower blood pressure and slows down Osteoporosis. Chamomile has anti inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiseptic properties. If used topically it is said to soothe skin conditions.
SPICED CHAMOMILE TEA RECIPE
Servings – 2 Coffee Cup Size Mugs
2 Four Seasons Foods Chamomile Tea Bags
1 Star Anise
1 Cinnamon stick (not a whole Quill )
Some zest from the lemon
1 Tablespoon Four Seasons Foods Honey, or more to taste.
1 – In a pot add 2 Coffee sized mugs of water and add Cloves, Cinnamon and Star Anise.
2 – At medium heat bring the water to a boil giving the spices time to infuse into the water.
3 – When the water starts to boil add the lemon juice then take off the heat and add the tea bags, lemon zest and honey onto Spice infused water.
4 – Cover with a lid and leave the tea to brew for a few minutes then stir the mix and serve.
