LEMON AND HERB SENSATION CHICKEN WITH GARLIC POWDER
This Chicken recipe packs some flavour with the combination of Lemon, herbs and garlic. The lemon flavour in this recipe is from the skin of the lemons. Lemon skin has a more bold and delicious flavour compared to using lemon juice. Cooking chicken with lemon zest or skin on Chicken is popular in Asian Cuisine. Try this recipe and enjoy some delicious flavours.
RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Makes 4 to 8 Servings
6 to 8 Portions Chicken Cutlets
8 to 10 twists Four Seasons Foods Herb Sensation
½ a Teaspoon Four Seasons Foods Garlic powder
2 Whole Green Lemons
1 Medium to large Onion, chopped
2 Medium to large Tomatoes, diced
1 Cup stock or water
Salt to your taste
2 Tablespoons Cooking oil 9f your choice
DIRECTIONS
1 – Wash and dry your Chicken pieces
2 – Using the small zester side on a Grater, grated off the lemon skins from the 2 lemons. This should give about a Tablespoons of lemon skin.
3 – Drizzle a tablespoon of cooking oil onto the chicken and sprinkle on Lemon zest, grind on herb sensation, and sprinkle on garlic and salt and rub all over the chicken.
4 – Heat your cooking oil at medium heat and fry the chicken skin side down first until it’s crispy brown then flip it over and cook until the skin looks cooked and brown for about 10 minutes.
5 – Take the chicken off and place in a plate and add the onions to the pan and fry until golden brown. Add tomatoes and cook to a sauce then add a bit of salt and stock or water and bring to a simmer.
6 – Add the chicken back in, crispy side on top and cook at a low heat until the stock has reduced and the chicken is done.
