Uses
Add Flax seeds to your Cereals and porridg as well as salads and some soups. They can also be added to your baking to add in some extra fibre. Four Seasons Foods has brown Flax seeds as well as white Flax seeds available.

FLAX AND CHIA SEED WHOLE WHEAT BREAD
The combination of healthy ingredients in this loaf of bread makes it a good choice for a healthy balanced breakfast.
RECIPE
Yield – 1 Mini Loaf
INGREDIENTS
1 and 1/2 Cups Four Seasons Foods Whole grain Flour
1 and 1/2 Cups Plain White Flour
2 Tablespoons Four Seasons Foods Chia Seeds
3 Tablespoons Four Seasons Foods Flax Seeds
2 Teaspoons Instant Yeast
2 Cups Hot Water (not scalding hot)
3/4 a Teaspoon Salt
3 Teaspoons Sugar
DIRECTIONS
1 – Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl, then pour the hot water in and mix to a smooth dough.
2 – Cover the bowl with cling film or a towel and set the dough aside in a warm place to rise for about 2 to 3 hours until the dough rises to double it’s original size.
3 – When the dough has risen, dust the surface with about 2 tablespoons flour.
4 – Scrape the the dough into the flour surface, with a knife or spatula and shape the dough towards the middle all round to form a round shape and deflating the risen flour.
5 – Once the dough is formed into a round shape, pick it up and place it on a greased baking tray, with the top side at the bottom.
6 – Bake the bread in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees Celsius on the middle tray of the oven for 35 to 40 minutes until the bread is cooked through.
7 – When it is done take it off the oven and cool it for a few minutes before taking it out of the baking tray.
8 – Serve it while hot or cooled down with butter or a spread of your choice.
